Sir, Good to see our Govt vision to double coal output. We need to minimize losses whether in men , material or money ,also stop misuse of Govt property or facilities provided to employees. There is lot of scope need not spell all. Non productive posts and promotion therein to be restrained. Also output depends on work efficiency .Reservations need to be controlled to keep others also in good spirit

APAR In private companies, immediate subordinates & superiors’asses APAR of each other. In Govt depts,APAR is assessed by only Superiors.Assessment ofAPAR of BOSS by subordinates will also help dept.If request for Review of CR assessment grading is put up,review process is not transparent. There is no basis for marks given for various attributes. No proper justification is given inAPAR review process.Dadagiri prevails in system. Reforms in assessment of APAR will help in work culture.

In central Govt, based on Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR/CR)gradings,cases are putup for promotion .Following are the observations on APAR Assessment.1) Assessment of APAR depends on personal relations with BOSS,feeling /will of BOSS.Persons helping in personalworks of BOSS are also rewarded in CR gradings. Favouritism is also based on a certain Language. No basis is provided in support of assessment /marks given to various attributes of APAR.

My suggestions are:
1.Include private mining companies with CIL for healthy competition.
2.Coal quality degrades if it is kept in open air, so proper storage facility with fire protection should be designed.
3. I have gone through many journals and from there I think some portion of coal can be converted into LPG.If government is interest then I can send the full project regarding this.
4. Design proper transport facility ( Covered container) for coal.

We have to let go of the idea that cheaper is better. We should instead aim for value. We spends huge on buying equipment and then using local sub par quality spares. Their version of local sourcing is not based on our local country growth but on cheapest solution. This leads to more breakdown, stoppage of production and less efficiency.
My expertise lies in spare parts and Gaskets. Our usage of Carcinogenic Asbestos Fibre (CAF) in Ropes and Gaskets is shocking & a serious health concern.

The coal transported via rail wagons are covered with Huge Plastic Sheets/Covers for each wagon, but in most of the cases these plastic sheets get torn/damaged by the high speed winds during movement of the wagons. There is no point in covering this coal in this fashion, some other method should be taught upon for this.

Instead of depleting the natural resources within our decades, we have to go for renewal energy sector, there by we will leave some natural resources to our coming generations.
Control the consumption of coal where it is deemed to utilize importantly and efficiently.
Most of the coal is used for thermal power generations, the unit should be optimized for efficient operations by conservation of coal and technological upgradations.
