Education is considered as the backbone of development, both at the individual household and societal levels. Educating the tribal children has been a challenge for the Government for various socio-cultural, economic, ecological and administrative reasons. Government is redesigning its strategies to create an enabling ecosystem of equal opportunity for quality education for ST children.

One of the major concerns of Tribal education is the low ST literacy rate and high ST drop-out rate.

Reducing the ST drop-out rates in Class I to X is a challenge. Bringing them back and to gainfully utilizing those who have already dropped out requires extreme care, sensitivity, imagination and meticulous planning.

Through this platform, Ministry of Tribal Affairs invites ideas, suggestions, views, opinions, solutions, criticism, and best practices from citizen for innovative interventions.

Don`t disturb the way tribal live and their culture. Tribal school education should be imparted in their language. Tribal should get such a education with which they can use it for their daily earnings. Medical help + food + funds for education+funds for small scale business after ssc.
