Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

Mr Modi along with Mrs Kiran Bedi should have tv interview in all TV channel to showcase that Modi has been born in poor and backward family who knows the difficulties faced by poor and deprived sections of population . Mr Modi is right person to alleviate the water, electricity, and unemployment difficulties faced poor people of Delhi. Kejriwal may have sympathy for poor people and work for poor people. But the difficulties facd por people is well understood by Mdi while struggling povert

The Government should create a national identification archive based on Aadhar no. When ever a person needs to buy a prepaid no. or obtain a driving license he needs to submit address proof and identity proof again again. This is a waste of paper time and energy. and those xerox papers simply go to garbage from which identity theft. The Government can simply develop individual archive that stores all proof of his/her identity so that we can just quote our aadhar and authenticate.

Also Government should start work on Last Mile WiFi services in all Cities and villages. Free WiFi service for all will be truly empowering for all. Also if it comes to the cost of providing Free WiFi. The Govt. can sell Advertisement space on all entities utilized in this service. A No Profit No Loss SPV should be formed to provide this service. The Government can do this if they take right steps and bring smart people to help them out with problems faced by common people.

By enabling Consumer ID for Mobile Nos. The Government can enable secure transactions by using mobile nos. Two factor authentication needs to be enabled. Even Two Factor Authentication will have loopholes. The government should form a security think tank that plug these loopholes.

One way of strengthening mobile no. security is to have two factor identification of any mobile no. The way MTNL/BSNL Landline numbers has a separate Consumer ID that only the customer has knowledge of. This number is needed at every bill payment and other transactions. Same should be enabled for Mobile Nos. also. This number should be given in a scratch card inside the prepaid sim card packet and only the consumer should be allowed to scratch that card and keep the number safe.

For this to happen TRAI needs to first strengthen protocols for mobile number blocking, recharges, and portability. Also, some Telcos allow users to do enable Net Packs directly by entering mobile no. on their website and entering the amount. The Net Pack will be activated by deducting balance from Talktime. This allows anyone to mischievously play with others money. TRAI should close these loop holes and make mobile no. more secure for everyone.

We need to connect all the income and expenditure on the basis of the pan card to begin with. There is still a lot of cash floating around that is unaccounted coming from where God only knows. we should have a such a system that if one swipes his card to buy a tooth brush, the track of this transaction should be available with the right authorities.
