My idea of improving Tirupati Proposal

Start Date :
May 23, 2016
Last Date :

The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). ...
Please start the local transport services: BRTS and sub-urban train service from Tirupati - Chandragiri, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti, Sricity
It should be Clean and secured, Welmantained from every end.
Dont know the reason on laying Cement roads most of the time in Tirupati. Where as in other cities, like Vijayawada or Vizag, most of the new roads are Black top roads. I am mentioning about this because, Tar roads adds a good look to the city. Though Cement roads needs less maintenance & long span, Tar roads are cost effective and comfortable. So, please, instead of leaving to the choice of Contractor, please frame a guidelines when to lay a BT road or Tar road and follow the same in entire MCT
Another suggestion is, if any kind of road construction activity is started, please try to complete the work 100%. As we can notice, there are no lane markings in most of places, in some places they are drawn only on one side, wth!!, there are no reflective lights in some areas, no zebra lines at few places. So, please try to lay the roads with all markings, lanes, zebra lines, from now on.
Another suggestion would be to equally concentrate on the aesthetics as well. For Example, if Bus shelter is planned, design it in a good looking way, so that it serves 2 purposes: 1 is it adds a identity, brand & look to the city & 2nd one being it makes ppl to think before spitting, throwing litter or making it dirty. Same applies for roads, foot paths, or any structure.
My feedback is on selection of only retrofitting as Area Based Development plan, Instead I suggest to go with retrofitting for a large area (aprrx 850ac) in already developed area + Greenfield development in a smaller (Aprx 300 Acr) area+pan City smart solutions for city wide. I have tried to explain the reason for suggesting against only Retrofitting in the below attachment. Hope it will be of use. Thank you
Tirupati must have to plan according to international City planning standard. Then only it will allow all types of people come to settle in Tirupati. Employment opportunities like Govt and Private must improve apart from business from visitors to Tirumala. Must develop beautiful lakes and parks for visitors relaxation. Must ban all Wines and liquor shops in Tirupati.
Respected Team, My Suggestions for improvement of Tirupati Propos & INDIA IN ATTACHED PHOTO.
Pls work on this.....Kalam Singh Kandari...09720337189
I am a regular visitor of Tirupati city and I am expecting 100 per cent neatness in the city because it is a tourist spot of AP. Municipal Corporation should take efforts to clean the city on 24*7 basis. Proper traffic police personnel should be appointed to regulating the traffic. Information counters should be opened in all the bus stands and public places where one can get all information about the city. Water and electricity supply should be for 24*7. Give importance to cleanliness.
