With the GST coming into effect from 1st July, 2017, the biggest indirect tax reform of independent India, is going to transform the way indirect tax is administered in this ...
if overdraft facility (special for gst ) is introduced in banks than it will more good becoz still there are lot of small /big contractors/consultants who get their payment overdue above 2 or three month . morover in AMC the payment comes at the year end .(2) in GST Portal suggestion menu for how to make gst better advisable (3) it is better if regular gst payer given some motivational discount
tollfree helpline no needs for businessman in every lenguages
Restaurants and Hotels:
Prior to GST were charging Vat and service tax.
Eg:Item X say thali or snacks @Rs.100 incl of tax.
After GST they bill for the same item at Rs.100 plus GST.
Thereby making superprofits.
Strong measures are required to catch this loot and ignorant common public and the govt is not cheated
I am an individual and have given my house on rent. Annual rent for 2016-17 is less than Rs 20 Lakh. Am I livable to register for GST?
There are still hotels and retailers who are charging exuberant prices by adding GST on top of the earlier price which had included tax. for example if the price of goods was Rs.10 with all taxes, now they have added 10+GST which is unfair practice. we need to have online complaints register against this guys. please provide channels for consumer to complaint against this kind of practice. Jai Hind
GST is an excellent reform & I think all of us citizens will benefit in the long run. It is still early days but there are some provisions which I believe need to be re-explored. For e.g. currently all farmers are exempt from GST. However, if farmers sell their produce to an e-commerce store, GST is applied. This is harmful to the farmers as they will prefer a transparent eCommerce marketplace rather than the APMCs where they are being exploited for years. Need to review and revise.
Dear Sir/Madam
I'm from australia and planning my visit to india soon. As Gst is already in place in Australia hence like in australia, Is there any provision for NRI's or anybody leaving india, Can get their GST refunded back to them. As We are not obliged to pay any taxes in India but of course while making any purchase that will incur GST that should be refunded back. When leaving Australia, we can claim the gst if the receipt total amount is or over $300.
good reforms for whole country like it very much
people(business) are not follow GST rules. those are doing corruption till now, they didn't maintain any bill payment equipment till now if people ask they scolding. if want it take with out bill or else go way from me. who having benefited from GST those are maintain bills from first day onwards , but who are lose their profits those people ignore rules. finally common people are suffer a lot in telugu states. at last BJP is stupid govt.in front of common people.
village / remote rural location based micro manufacturing franchise of national brand , should be exempted from any tax to help large manufacturer decentralise manufacturing units and develop micro hubs which will help more village people getting into skill development programme and get engaged by local units .
