With the GST coming into effect from 1st July, 2017, the biggest indirect tax reform of independent India, is going to transform the way indirect tax is administered in this ...
Dear Modi Ji
NDA govt launched GST which is good for economy and nation both. I have some concern about rate fixed for Ayurvedic medicine. It is 5000 old indian system of disease management with no side effect. You and your govt aggressively promoting Yoga and popularise it.First time in your govt Ayurveda get some attention. But new GST rate of 12,18 & even 28% on some medicine is unfair. Medicated soap for fungal infecton is 28%. Hope to reduced it 5% so poor patient will get it affordable.
its just for our discuss why no one can reply for our question?
The Government departments must enter details of payments made thro contracts and take credit from inputs..this will ensure tax deposits for works through contracts
Must check www.arthkranti.org
There you can find something better than GST

While GST as a concept is good opting for various tax rates has made it less effective.
The rates also seem to have been arbitrarily fixed an example
Moulded rubber parts which are under HSN4016 is 28% which is practically the luxury tax rate. Rubber parts are not luxury items.
At the same rime extruded rubber parts which are under HSN4008 is 18%ß
The molded rubber industry typically r Msme a 28% tax would mean an incr in Wk capital. This will lead to many of them closing down
I have buy some products from a mall. They have charge me GST on MRP means MRP+GST= Total Cost. Is it correct or wrong? If correct then why you are telling it MRP??
Please make tax to wine shop drinks, and ban cola pepsi products, avoid tax to cottage products,,,#save farmers....
My answer is straightforward and simple. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. A minor degree of cascading of taxes is inevitable in a federal structure like ours. We clamor for a unified market, but is it possible in India? I agree that a unified market will help the nation a lot, but so will single official languages or a single practicing religion. But India needs to reconcile itself to fact that a unified market isn’t possible, just like we have embraced our multitude of religions&language
One India, One Tax, One people
One Nation
One People
One Category, That's India.
