India is proud to host the AI Impact Summit 2026, a landmark global event announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the France AI Action Summit. Building on the momentum of Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris, the Summit will mark a strategic shift, from action to measurable impact, in global AI cooperation.

The Summit envisions a future where AI delivers real impact, advancing inclusive growth, social development, and a healthier planet. It aims to ensure that AI innovation and governance reflect the diverse realities, languages, and development priorities of both emerging and advanced economies.

Bringing together governments, industry leaders, researchers, startups, civil society, and international organizations, the Summit will chart a shared vision for harnessing AI responsibly, for good, and for all. The Summit will help bridge the AI divide and enable all communities, especially in the developing world, to shape and benefit from the future of AI.

To ensure the Summit is grounded in public priorities and stakeholder insight, the Government of India invites inputs from citizens, students, researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts. Your feedback will help shape the themes, focus areas, and key deliverables of the Summit.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), through IndiaAI (an independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting inputs to help shape the discourse, themes, and outcomes of the AI Impact Summit 2026. Your views will ensure the Summit reflects national and international priorities and delivers meaningful, inclusive, and actionable outcomes.

Please provide your suggestions and inputs below regarding the AI Impact Summit and its themes, outcomes, priorities, and more

Advancing Culturally-Conscious AI for Inclusive Impact:

As AI becomes globally deployed, it is essential to ensure it reflects cultural diversity and local values. I recommend the AI Impact Summit 2026 include Culturally-Conscious AI as a key theme — focusing on reducing bias, supporting multilingual and regional inclusivity, and promoting ethical frameworks adaptable across societies.

India, with its rich cultural landscape and emerging AI leadership, is well-positioned to lead this effort. As a student researcher working in this area, I believe culturally aware AI systems can foster greater trust, equitable outcomes, and broader adoption across diverse communities — especially in the Global South.

This approach aligns well with the Summit’s goals of inclusion and measurable global impact.

Dear Sir,
I am Asha R Pai. I would wish to give few suggestions for AI education at School level for children below 14 years of age in case we are planning to make our young children future ready. I had already written a blog on Medium, com in May 2025 regarding this topic in detail. Actually its a debate topic how to really get a balance with the incorporation of modern technology in education and to really maintain our traditional values as well as attain the full cognitive and physical developmental growth of the young children at their budding age. An Age appropriate AI curriculum design can be the finally suggested as an outcome of the debate. I am attaching the link. Please check the link given below.

As a BCA graduate interested in programming and IT for aviation and defense, I suggest the Summit focus on:

Themes: AI in national security, aviation, and skill development.

Priorities: AI education in local languages, student participation, and collaboration with startups.

Outcomes: Responsible AI frameworks, youth involvement through hackathons, and a platform for showcasing student innovations.

India has a great opportunity to lead in inclusive and impactful AI development.

The rapid proliferation of Artificial Intelligence across industries necessitates a regulatory framework/Act to balance innovation and fundamental rights. The regulatory framework can monitor and transform the use of AI applications in the context of constitutional mandates, data protection regime, and digital innovation.
The regulation may have 3 categories:
1.Unacceptable Risk – Prohibited, e.g: manipulative systems, social scoring.
2.High Risk – Subject to stringent obligations, e.g., AI in healthcare, law enforcement, education.
3.Limited Risk – Requires transparency obligations, e.g., chatbots.
The Honourable Central Government has already taken wonderful initiatives through DPDPA 2023 & IT Rules 2021, AI Governance will help India AI mission to harness AI in the best interest of the country. Heartfelt thanks for this opportunity to let me contribute through my suggestions.
Thanks & Regards,

India with its linguistic and cultural diversity must build AI system to build LLMs and NLP tools. BharatGPT , a foundational AI language model must be designed to understand and generate content in Indian languages across multiple domains.
• Built for Bharat: Unlike global LLMs that are often English-centric or culturally Western, BharatGPT is tuned to the socio-cultural context of India , its languages, idioms, local knowledge systems, and civic needs.
• Applications of Bharat GPT includes:
• Governance: Automating translation of government documents, policies, and legal texts into regional languages.
• Public Services: Powering multilingual virtual assistants, chatbots, and helpdesks across platforms like UMANG, DigiLocker, and MyGov.
• Education: Enabling AI tutors that teach in mother tongues, promoting foundational literacy through local dialects.
• Healthcare: Supporting telemedicine platforms with doctor-patient communication in vernacular languages.

Adoption of AI in the government sector can significantly help—but only if implemented carefully and ethically. There are lot of improvements required in many sectors which will surely improve the system i.e. Healthcare, Education, Judicial,

AI tools can assist in legal research, case prioritization, and translation of judgments.

AI helps screen for diseases and analyze patient data faster.

AI must be implemented keeping in mind following

Inclusive all layers of citizens, Must be Transparent, Ethical.
