Reimagining Skill India 2.0: Inviting creative ideas and suggestions to help reinvent the
landscape of skilling in India

The Government has reimagined Skill India 2.0, understanding the urgent need to create a reliable and qualified workforce. The push is necessary to help the workforce tap into new opportunities so we can look at the future of the world of work and be a part of New India's growth story.

Union Budget 2022 unfolded a vision for a New India, which will be built on a strong skilling ecosystem, robust digital infrastructure and plethora of opportunities. To fulfil this dream, several initiatives have been proposed to boost the skilling sector. They are:
Industry Connect: As India ushers in Industry 4.0, industry linkage becomes important to provide demand-driven industry-relevant training opportunities, bridging the skill gap and facilitating demand-based skilled manpower to industries which would, in turn, add new jobs.

NSQF Alignment: In a bid to bring talent in sync with demand for it, the Government is leaving no stone unturned to renovate the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)and align it with evolving industries.

Digital Skills: The launch of the DESH-stack e-portal will encourage a digital ecosystem for skilling and livelihood and offer solutions to complex challenges in preparing for a skilled country. The Government is also focusing on strengthening the digital skill ecosystem as technical skills like AR/VR, machine learning, and the ability to work with data, including automated systems, become a must-have.

With Drone Shakti and Kisan Drones for crop assessment, digitization of land records, and spraying of insecticides, the country is set to leapfrog to a future-ready world. This opens up innumerable opportunities for both the drone and
agri-tech sectors: a mutually beneficial ecosystem for technology companies and agricultural modernization.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the skill capital of the World.

Technical trainings and Personality development trainings both are important in our career development. For freshers technical training is very important because that makes the base. Reputed organisations maintain skill inventory data of their employees based on the experience they gain in their careers. Skill inventory data decides their deployment on a particular job. When some new equipment is introduced in the process, organisation try to train existing staff, if not recruits experienced operators from the market it is part of MOC requirements that they have to fulfil. Trainings are given involving Equipment manufacturers, internally on operation processes, hazards involved & control measures to be followed, etc. Process SOP, P&IDs, engineering drawings and risk assessment documents are made available to all employees to learn further and or refresh their knowledge. Based on our engineering discipline we should assess the market demand and try to acquire the knowledge from repute

Dear sirs,
Micro & Small & Medium Enterprises are the back bone of any developing country. The role of
government is crucial to keep them alive.
The policy must have enough safeguard which should come in force & not only on paper.
The present situation is not much favourable due to big players. The defined. criteria of monetary value will. help better. This means for micro & small enterprises the lower value tenders & jobs should be open for same class with defined turn over. The policy must dictate for big private industry to give jobs with. secured payment system to micro & small enterprises.
This will generate the employment opportunity in every part of country.
The policy must be Cristal clear & effectively implemented. The financial turn over criteria
can be taken as base. The tragedy of micro & small enterprises is having the capability without job & payment.

Skill development should be started from the very beginning of life only with active participation of parents, teachers too. Every child and person is blessed with unique potential and it just needs to be harnessed so as to bring out the best.

Skilling should start at School level. Include skilling in the curriculum. Teachers can identity the hidden skills of the children
