Reimagining Skill India 2.0: Inviting creative ideas and suggestions to help reinvent the
landscape of skilling in India

The Government has reimagined Skill India 2.0, understanding the urgent need to create a reliable and qualified workforce. The push is necessary to help the workforce tap into new opportunities so we can look at the future of the world of work and be a part of New India's growth story.

Union Budget 2022 unfolded a vision for a New India, which will be built on a strong skilling ecosystem, robust digital infrastructure and plethora of opportunities. To fulfil this dream, several initiatives have been proposed to boost the skilling sector. They are:
Industry Connect: As India ushers in Industry 4.0, industry linkage becomes important to provide demand-driven industry-relevant training opportunities, bridging the skill gap and facilitating demand-based skilled manpower to industries which would, in turn, add new jobs.

NSQF Alignment: In a bid to bring talent in sync with demand for it, the Government is leaving no stone unturned to renovate the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)and align it with evolving industries.

Digital Skills: The launch of the DESH-stack e-portal will encourage a digital ecosystem for skilling and livelihood and offer solutions to complex challenges in preparing for a skilled country. The Government is also focusing on strengthening the digital skill ecosystem as technical skills like AR/VR, machine learning, and the ability to work with data, including automated systems, become a must-have.

With Drone Shakti and Kisan Drones for crop assessment, digitization of land records, and spraying of insecticides, the country is set to leapfrog to a future-ready world. This opens up innumerable opportunities for both the drone and
agri-tech sectors: a mutually beneficial ecosystem for technology companies and agricultural modernization.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the skill capital of the World. 

The last date to submit your entries is 30th June 2022.

Skill development centres should be started in the villages, so that rural girls will get chance to get trained .

भारत में विकास के लिए अनेक योजनाएं सरकार ने चला रखी हे पर उन योजनाओं पर पूरा ध्यान देना चाहिए क्योंकि अक्सर लोग इन योजनाओं का गलत इस्तेमाल करते हैं जो भी योजना बनाओ उसकी जांच भी करनी चाहिए कि लोगों को उस योजना से कुछ फायदा हुआ या नहीं लोगों तक यह योजना तो पहुंची कि नहीं पहुंची इसका भी पूरा ध्यान रखना चाहिए जो भी योजना बनाओ उसका प्रचार करना चाहिए ताकि सभी को पता चले की क्या-क्या योजनाएं है हमारे लिए और लोगों की गरीबी को दूर करनी चाहिए सरकार को और सभी लोगों को

Automation is need of industry to:
1) Maintain consistency in 'Quality' as quality is operator dependent.
2) Increase production volumes as speed of human body movement has a limit.
3) Increasing complexities as products are becoming smaller and more compact, it is difficult to manually assemble small parts.
Automation has created more opportunities for employment generation.
Skilled persons are required for 'Trouble Shooting', for 'Maintenance and Service' and for 'Making Automatic Machines'.
Next generation skilling shall include Robotics, CNCs, PLCs.
Different makers have different programming languages but it may be noted that basic philosophy is similar for controls of all makes.
Students shall be trained in such a way that they can adust themselves with any make of control with minimal efforts.

Skill set promotion along with general education, skill set promotion to community youth and rural youth, skill set promotion to government and private sectors service sector for promotion, demotion and transfer options, Skill and Women empowerment, Skill and present youth- skill set promotion three ways 1. traditional skill,2. contemporary skill 3. skill to follow modern decorum.1- traditional- Pottery, applique, weaving etc 2.- embroidery, tailoring, carpentery , music,game, etc 3- electronic repair and maintenance, AC ,mechanic, automobile, electric, office management, tourism and hospitality management etc.

QA/QC inspection reports etc). During project phase they are the single point of contact for Engg.Consultants & Engg.Contractors from client side. Drawings prepared by contractors are initially reviewed by consultants if they satisfy, it is submitted to clients for review, after clients comments resolution is done approved for construction drawings are prepared and submitted by contractor. If client fails to reply within 7 days of it is treated as approved by client. Trainings on Document Control Process/procedures shall be initiated.

I would suggest the following ideas and suggestions: 1. Creating a safe,rewarding and remunerative work opportunities for the youth. 2. To promote women empowerment 3. Intoduction of Artificial intelligence and automation. 4. Youth expectations are job security,benefits & protection of social security and health care. To reduce the skill gap by focussing more on rural areas and encouraging the creation of startups . New skills should be promoted and the youth specially in rural villages should be more focussed and state should play a predominant role in facilitating small self set up industry. The education sector should be given more focus and specifically focussed on women. The Government should facilitate free education more so in vocational skill areas so that youth get more opportunities for employment and industry.
