To stay ahead in the innovation game, India’s knowledge-led economy has the opportunity to showcase its global competitiveness. For this, India must ensure that the workforce upgrades its knowledge and acquires new skills .We must change our mindset to Reskilling @scale and speed by harnessing our human resources and technological capabilities.
While reskilling for enhanced capabilities will become the prime driver, the mental and emotional stress on individuals should simultaneously be addressed. Turning the house into a workplace, 24x7 availability and managing domestic responsibilities, can lead to psychological and mental stress. Therefore, the mental health of employees must remain a central pillar of the organizations.
Though computes are used in offices, still delivery of services has not improved as expected. Many companies have SAP or some other systems. But Staff is not conversant with use of computers and office automation systems. The person using system is not working with system but fighting with system.
A lot of automation is taking place in medical surgeries. Though, doctors may be aware of new developments but surgeons or doctors of the past may not be conversant with these robotic surgeries.
Every work place is changing with evolution of newer technologies. Big companies may give an opportunity to employees to acquire new skills and get up-skilled but many MSME may not be willing to spend money to up-skill the employees. Another aspect of this dilemma is that after acquiring new skills the employee may leave organisation so the very purpose of up-skilling will go away.
Government may make you-tube videos on skill development on different topics. Interested persons can view and learn
Working virtually will demand significantly different workforce capabilities. There is now a need for greater data-driven decision-making and digitisation. As technology will be the cornerstone of almost all innovation and new ideas aimed at productivity, efficiency, ease and scale, reskilling the employees accordingly will be a new challenge.

Basic reason for the crime is unemployment. Unemployment because of no skills. Prison can be a skill development centre. Even small offenders those who are doing crime not so bad also can be given a training for 30 days with a stipend. At the end of the training if Govt create an employment for them thru the corporates , within 10 years we can try NO CRIME Nation

Skill-based training is badly needed to carpenter's, brass pottery and utensils makers, clay, bamboo, leaf, twigs and the producers engaged and depending on nature and natural elements as their raw materials,
masons, plumbers, electricians and gardeners must be available for the latest techniques and skills being applied, above the janitors, clinical staff the workers engaged in making green and clean must be trained to do so in a manner that they can opt and shift anywhere any time.
skill training center should be collaborated with ITI and Polytechnic institutions across the country.
The knowledge of the latest skills applied in an industrialised nation need not be borrowed, rather can easily be developed in own land, if we implement them thoroughly as per the demand and capability to whom the project has been initiated.
