Start Date :
Feb 01, 2015
Last Date :

Khadi is not merely a piece of cloth. It is a philosophy. A way of life. A symbol of empowerment, self-dependence, pride of history, Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of the relevance of ...
it is electronics that is going to help the rural poor than khadi now. like assembling led bulbs or soldering components on a circuit board . or data entry for a website. what is needed is a policy. and a thrust from the right quarters
THERE SHOULD BE SOME TARGET DECIDED ON MONTHLY BASIS FOR CREATING ENTREPRENEUR / EMPLOYMENT AT VILLAGE / BLOCK / TALUKA LEVEL IN THIS PROGRAM SO THAT THE NEEDY CAN BE BENEFITED. IT SHOULD BE ADVERTISED VERYWELL SO THAT EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE PROGRAM. IT SHOULD BE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL IN LOCAL LANGUAGE TO PARTICIPANT.
This is an excellent way to provide employment to rural women. The government should try and reach out to the maximum number of women through this initiative. NGO's can be used to spread the initiative.Khadi units can be put up outside Delhi for a start and gradually be spread across the nation over a period of 6-8 years. This initiative will be good as it will reduce migration to cities while at the same time providing a stable source of livelihood to rural women
Right now our economy is facing the challenge of 'reducing savings' or rising expenses. People r spending every where lot of money on education, hospitalisation. Pl improve govt education n govt hospitals. When savings increases people will consume more.n economy will move forward,
Pl use 'csr' corporate social resoonsibility amount as a theme plan for 2 yrs. For example 15n 16 dedicated to medical facilities in villages. Under this companies hv to spend money on this programme only. Same way every two yrs there should b another area , where govt n people of this country need betterment. But this should b told in advance to campacampanies.like v do in sports , next cwg in this country etc.by taking this step for 10 yrs, v will remove the major problems.
Use of Kullad to serve tea/coffee in public places can benefit us in two ways.
1. It will protect our mother earth from menace of plastics
2 It can provide employment to rural people who make these Kullads
Government should think to make compulsory use of Kullads for these purposes. Also at least 50% of plastic should come from recycling it. Again it is good for environment and many scavengers can get job in collecting waste plastic for recycling.
Khadi and small scale Industries should be aligned with agriculture dominant area. Farmers and farm labours can be engaged in rural industries along with thier farm activities. it diversifies the rural economy and farmers income.
two, If they were able to convert cotton to cloth, value addition improve their earning.'
Farmers can convert locally available material to value added products, including packed food items.
e-com site with postal department enable easier access to the entire world.
Rural women employment through khadi is not enough through financial support. They need marketing help too. I am a digital marketing consultant and given chance can provide a concept that can help each home in a better way. My concept can help them believe in their skills and instills the best confidence levels to survive on own too.
KHADI is one of the key feature once existed or existing (supposed to be)among we Indians. To increase employment especially for women it is one of relevant area of interest to be taken in account.Women can empower themselves in this field vastly and deeply.According to my perspective KHADI is one of the apt field in which women will be able to showcase their talents and views and it'll be a strong and steady platform for them. Also the vanishing KHADI can be saved and can bring it to a new height
Demand and supply are two key words for any business.
1.Create demand for Khadi:for example all govt school should use khadi for dress or all govt hospital should use khadi bed sheets etc.
2.Make a supply chain, open centre where anyone specially rural-women can get a supply order (limited to 5000/-per month or so).
3. educate rural women where they can sell their product or can get order of supply.
4.training for skill development
5.automation( hand made is not a good idea)
