Why only through Khadi ? The 90% of the unskilled women are in the rural area,so would it not be appropriate to talk about. Agribusiness options as their additional income option ?
This will require the option, the protocol, the training and the hand holding to ensure the success.

women across the nation should be skilled as to use of charkha ,and goverment should make them available charkha in cotton growing areas ,and black soil areas where cotton is not grown should be focused and cotton production should be promoted, and if in each such houses khadi is made, then at district level a khadi purchase centres should be opened ,which would channelise the handwoven khadi of our women to the market.
