Greetings:This is with respect to Ms Smiriti Irani note abt new Education Policy
I propose it should be aligned with PM's overarching mission of Women/Girl Child
Empowerment. Entrepreneurship should be integral part of Education at all levels.
Students should recognize value of finished 'product' or 'service' and increasing
economic value. We've seen this in Gujarat. Women strength & representation can be measured, portrayed in all segments/positions, as their 'soft power': ArdhaNariIshwar.

1. Khadi is majorly manufactured by small scale industry. We need to make the privatisation of this sector by convincing the textile industrialist across the world to try their hand in this field. We should also make available the fiscal aid particularly in the name of this sector for both small and big level.
2. For making the youth aware of use of Khadi we can also assign the prominent Fashion Diva as the ambassador of this Khadi brand.

We need to return to times when Khadi symbolised a sense of patriotism. Khadi was taken 'as our own'. A product of pure cotton, Khadi was worn season in and season out. As a matter of fact, Khadi was accepted in every strata of society with a sense of pride. Irrespective of the place or occasion, Khadi enjoyed it 'place' of honour. Even the foreign rulling class failed to divest Khadi of its in the hearts of people in general. HOWEVER, IT IS FOR US TO PONDER OVER AS TO WHERE & HOE WE DRIFTED.

In most of the Government Department, PSUs etc, towels are purchased for officers. If a G.O. is issued that the Government Departyments/PSUs/Autonomous bodies will only purchase Towels made of Khadi, this will give a big boost to Khadi industry. Hope the Idea works.
