On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Dear Honorable PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, My name is Biswaprakash Bhol from Phulnkhara, Cuttack, Odisha.I would like to shring something i.e, *The Independence Day speech can focus on practical issues that affect the daily lives of citizens. It would be helpful to address employment opportunities for young people, improving the quality of government schools and healthcare services, reducing delays in public services, strengthening road safety, ensuring clean drinking water, and protecting the environment. The speech could also encourage transparency, accountability, and equal opportunities for all citizens regardless of their background. *A forward-looking vision with measurable goals for education, employment, public infrastructure, and technology would inspire confidence and encourage collective participation in nation-building.

Dear Honorable PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, My name is Asha Warrier and I live in New Delhi. I would like to share some of my feelings and suggestions in the light of the recent fiery topic of NEET paper leak followed by very painful incidents of violent demonstrations wherein young children were heard spewing venom using vulgar language and acts on the streets of the National Capital, on our respected leaders, armed forces, police force and even displaying anti nationalist posters and slogans. Dear Modi Ji, I feel, for all the upcoming national and state level entrance examinations, there should be high level security at the examination centers, with thorough physical check-up of every student and they should not be allowed to carry anything to the venue, which includes, bags, handkerchiefs, belts, water bottles, pens or pencils, jewellery, hair bands, clips or rubber bands. Parents and by-standers should not be allowed within 2 kms range of the venue. Regards.

Respected Prime Minister, As India is moving rapidly towards the future, I request you to highlight these important topics in your Independence Day Speech 2026: India should become a global leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and AI education should start from schools and colleges. Water conservation should become a people's movement. Every citizen should learn to save water and adopt rainwater harvesting. Youth should receive more skill-based education, digital training, and startup support to create employment. Strong awareness should be created about cyber security and protection from online fraud. Every citizen should plant at least one tree and actively contribute to protecting the environment. Encourage innovation, scientific thinking, and the spirit of "Viksit Bharat 2047" among young Indians. Jai Hind!

National Water Volunteer Force Establish a National Water Volunteer Force to engage citizens, especially young people, in protecting and restoring India's water resources. The volunteer force can work with local governments and communities to revive ponds, wells, rivers, and lakes, promote rainwater harvesting, and spread awareness about water conservation. This initiative will strengthen community participation, improve water security, protect the environment, and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat 2047.
