On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

I would like to hear from our prime minister about quota system. In my opinion quota system is not suitable for today's world. It divide our social harmony. Its creat hetrate between people. Deserving aspirants are demotivating and systems are failing due to this. In this era everyone should get fair chance to prove themselves otherwise country will loose precious gems. Thank you🙏

Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, I submit this suggestion for Independence Day Address 2026. For NewIndia, my priority is a strong national safety framework for all citizens, with focus on women and children, and international tourists. I believe enhanced public safety drives investment, industry, jobs, and prosperity. I propose a "Zero Incident Tourism & Citizen Safety Mission" with 4 pillars: 1. Institutional: Trained, multilingual Tourist Police + Women Help Desks at tourist sites, airports, railways. Integrated with 112 and a safety app. 2. Accreditation: "Safe City" and "Safe Tourism Provider" ratings to build trust. 3. Technology & Justice: AI-CCTV in public/tourist areas + fast-track courts for crimes against women, children, tourists. 4. Awareness: Nari Suraksha Abhiyan" for hospitality and safety. A secure India attracts tourists, investment, and jobs. Senthil Ramasamy - Ireland

Every year on 15 August, the nation looks to the Red Fort for words that can both honour the past and point toward the future. As India approaches its 79th Independence Day in 2026, the speech delivered by the Prime Minister has the potential to do more than list achievements. It can set a clear, responsible direction for a country that has grown stronger yet still faces unfinished tasks. The following thoughts outline how that speech could be shaped around the idea of “Responsible Power, Inclusive Progress.” The opening should be warm and grounded. A simple greeting to the people, followed by a brief acknowledgment of the generations who fought for freedom and the millions who work quietly every day to keep the country moving, would create an immediate connection. Long historical accounts are unnecessary. What matters is a sincere recognition that independence is not a finished event but a continuing responsibility.

August 15 is one of the most important days in the history of India. On this day in 1947, India gained independence from British rule after a long and courageous freedom struggle. Millions of Indians, led by great leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rani Lakshmibai, and many others, sacrificed their comfort and, in many cases, their lives for the nation's freedom. Every year, Independence Day reminds us of their bravery, unity, and patriotism. The Prime Minister hoists the National Flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi, followed by a speech that reflects on the country's achievements and future goals.Across India, schools, colleges, offices, and communities celebrate with flag-hoisting ceremonies, cultural programmes, patriotic songs, and speeches. This day inspires every Indian to uphold the values of freedom, democracy, equality, and national unity. It reminds us that our responsibility is not only to enjoy freedm

Respected Prime Minister, My humble request is that your Independence Day speech focuses on the dreams and aspirations of India's youth. Inspire us to become honest, disciplined, skilled, and responsible citizens who contribute to building a stronger nation. Kindly highlight the importance of: Quality education for every child. More skill development and employment opportunities for young people. Women's safety and equal opportunities. Environmental protection through tree plantation, clean energy, and water conservation. Support for farmers and rural development. Affordable healthcare and better public services. Digital innovation, science, and technology. National unity, harmony, and respect for the Constitution. Please encourage every Indian to dedicate at least one positive action every day for the country. Together, with honesty, hard work, and unity, we can build a Viksit Bharat that is prosperous, inclusive, and respected across the world. Jai Hind!
