The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share ...
India can foster sustainability in electric cities through a comprehensive approach. Embracing renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power is crucial. Promoting energy-efficient technologies, implementing smart grids for optimized energy distribution, and incentivizing green building practices are essential steps. Prioritizing robust public transportation systems, creating green spaces within urban areas, and adopting eco-friendly urban planning strategies further contribute to a more sustainable and resilient electric city infrastructure.
1. Govt should form a Commission comprising of bureaucrats who have indepth knowledge related to electric vehicles.
2. Report should be made public to the citizens
3. Govt should highlight the advantages of E vehicle through social media and other platforms.
4. Monitor whether the project is implemented on the ground through a Committee.
These are all the ways through which our Nation can make E vehicle more sustainable through green infrastructure.

it is required to motivate the peoples for adopting the EV instead of petrol / diesel vehicles by increasing the subsidy and decreasing the cost of the vehicle for pocket friendly and making new charging stations that charge the vehicles an affordable price.
hi
Building a network of charging stations powered by renewable energy sources like solar and wind that can reduce the carbon footprint of EVs.
Establishing facilities for recycling and reusing EV batteries which can minimize environmental impact and reduce the demand for raw materials.
Investing in electric buses and trains for public transportation can significantly reduce emissions and traffic congestion in cities.
Providing subsidies, tax breaks, and other incentives for purchasing EVs which can encourage more people to switch from traditional vehicles to electric ones.
Encouraging the adoption of cycles, electric scooters and motorcycles, which are popular in India, can further reduce pollution and reliance on fossil fuels.
Integrating EV charging infrastructure with smart grid technology can optimize energy use, reduce strain on the grid, and maximize the use of renewable energy sources.
