All Smart City planning should be Gender Sensitive and Gender Inclusive. Public spaces, roads, toilets and other utilities should be planned keeping the safety of women in mind.

Under Smart City scheme ADA is undertaking beautification of Civil Lines. In this plan Civil Lines shopkeepers noticed 17 serious flaws which they gave in writing on 28.01.16. Alternate remedy plan has also been submitted (plan attached). These suggestions are being totally ignored as work is proceeding without change. ADA has to take them seriously otherwise, under garb of Smart City project, irreparable harm will be caused to Civil Line's heritage, business and employment will greatly suffer.

Today i went to LIC colony in Allahpur and realised the encroachment by residents in some parts have covered almost half of the road. Where encroachments at commercial places are being taken care off, these encroachments in residential areas should be also adhered to.

first of all a well planned mass campaign is required to be arranged in the school, different areas of cities through newspapers and other organisations working in the city to find out wether the people of this city want their city to be smart or not. If they yes then certain rules and their duties should be defined to them and make clear to if they willnot follow they will be penalties in money only.On second phase the cleanliness and other commodities should considered.#SmartCity

The biggest problem that the city faces is garbage collection on roads. It is not only unhealthy but also breeding grounds for harmful bacteria and viruses. So, firstly an effective waste disposal scheme should be formulated and should be strictly monitored from time to time .
