Government of India is setting up National Manufacturing and Investment Zones (NMIZ) in India to boost manufacturing, at a cost of about Rs 15,000 Crores each. We request that Govt of Tamil Nadu should seek one of the NMIZ be located in Coimbatore to attract large industries which would provide markets for the small and medium industries located in Coimbatore.
