Last Date :
Dec 05, 2015
00:00 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
New Town, Kolkata has been declared as a potential Smart City under the Smart Cities Mission, Government of India. To participate in Round-2 of the challenge of the smart city ...
Systemic planatation drive and its maintenance are to be initiated. There should be dedicated bi-cycle track fo the commuters
I believe #newTown has so much to gain and so much to offer in #WestBengal; it just bothers me how #HIDCO is not doing anything to help #Entrepreneurs to come to #Newtown. Local hooligans just make the entire experience a shame! Have so many friends who planned to start their office construction there but ended up winding down because of this nuisance. First and foremost is to bring law and order in the region and make it a safe place.
Dram City - New Town is ideal for best Smart City of India. Available for all Smart Development from technology to culture. Education to placement. Residents will be happy with happy living. Employee will be happy at working place. Grand parents will be happy with grand children. My dream my city.
Quality construction of road / pathway / plantation / available of water bodies / green building will reduce pollution and improve air quality.
Major IT Companies are having office at New Town and pl involve then offering incentives to support Smart City project. Biotechnology companies may be invited to start activities and improve the area. Students of all institutions of New Town may be utilized to start awareness program. All stake holder feel comfortable inside and outside of home in Dream City - New Town.
Pl. set up one government school, one government hospital in Action Area IA. Pl. start Honours Degree Courses in the existing government college.
Apurba Sen.
I wish the smarter solutions of all the problems of people of NEW Town, Kolkata.
I am glad to know that new addition of Smart City of New Town, Kolkata.
Few things we should consider:
a> Need more plantation.
b> Need more parking areas instead of parking car any where in the road.
c> Need to have more playing grounds like Salt Lake.
More zebra crossings required
