if MANGALURU has been selected as smart city, then one most imp. thing we have to adopt is water harvest in the city. Let all the builders of Mangaluru make provisions for their buildings compulsory water harvesting system.They can use that water min. of 3-4 months. next is every builder has to maximum no. of trees
in the plot where they will build the buildings. we must try to protect nature. Nature is everything. if we protect her she will protect us.Try to make one or two pools in the city

To make Mangaluru A Smart City:
1. People should be Smarter.
2. Women safety has to be ensured.
3. Medical facilities should match International Standard.
4. Eco friendly environment to be maintained.
5. Roads has to be widen up to the maximum extent to ensure no traffic jam.
6. Proper Drainage & footpaths.

In Smart City these area need to be improved
1. Water supply should be 24hrs
2. Power Supply
3. Development of industries so that it will improve the Job opportunities
4. Roads need to be improved (lot of support from public also required)
5. Law and order (no political influence should involve)
6. Tourism spots should be improved (main beach).
7. Improvement in the area of confluence (where the river is joining to sea) because fishing boats are struggling a lot to enter to fishing port

ಬೊಂದೆಲ್ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ಮಂಜಲ್ ಪಾದೆಯ ಪರಿಸರ (ಇದು ಆರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಜಮೀನಾಗಿದೆ) ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ನಿರುಪಯುಕ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯೆನಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದು ವಿವಿದ ಜಾತಿಯ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಶಕ ಪಕ್ಷಿಧಾಮವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡ ಬಹುದು.
ಸರಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯ (RTO, PWD, DC, ZP MCC ) ಮೇಲೆ ಸೋಲಾರ್ ಅಳವವಡಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿಯಾಗಿಸುವುದು
