The City “Mangaluru” in Karnataka has been selected as one of the Smart Cities to be developed under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India's Smart City ...
#Mangalore #Smart city
Mangalore is already a smart place with its smart people. Now steps have to b taken to make Mangalore more smarter, a better place to live and also make it the best place to live..
vision to provide uninterupted supply of power, water. To provide effective waste disposal management. To provide better transport and communication facilities. To provide health facilities accesibile by all.To provide infrastructure etc. As well as other facilities and aspects which benefit the human society.
A City filled with traditional and cultural values. Beautiful temples, churches and mosque with plenty of history to it. Surrounded by the Beautiful Arabian Sea. One of the major tourist attraction of Karnataka. Though with all this, the city isn't fully developed and there are quite few fields were it should develop and make progress. For example - The Central market is still the same way as it is. No proper Parking facility. Unclean surroundings in and out of market makes it harder for people.
A faster, smarter and larger Mangaluru must be the key aspect of the project, for this cleaner surroundings, proper solid waste management is a must and 24X7 helpline services and sashakt police forces with faster response must be appointed and with this aspect digitalising is also very important with increasing users, buisness transactions are made easier and socio economic grwoth must be given more weight!
Mangaluru City will be an aspirational city for all, foremost among all others, balancing delicately her past with the future, heritage with aspiration, culture with development, healthcare with employment, tourism with safety, friendliness to business with the bliss of retirement, most importantly yesterday’s Glorious Legacy with Tomorrow’s Promising Mystery
'Mangalore'is simply a place like no other. Connected by all three transport facility. Air, Road & railway network. A typical Educational, industrial and business developed city. High time that this beautiful City needed a Smart City tag. The roads and traffic need to improve drastically. Need to restore the parks, require high amenities to make this city a fully modernized and yet so beautiful and peaceful city. Totally welcoming the Smart city tag. Looking forward for this.
Girded by Gorges , Gods , Yakshas & Sea, Her Majesty Mangalore envisages a multifaceted furtherance which would alight her to the acme among all smart cities. Transcendence in education, healthcare, transport, tourism, & Harmony in multiculturalism imparts her hegemony to forge ahead unsurpassed! Chosen to excel is her motto!!
Mangaluru faces significant challenges. As more people migrate to city, our resources such as energy & housing must be managed wisely. Development must reach all as some of the areas of the city are extremely deprived when in comes to health, road & connectivity. By further strengthening our world famous education & banking sector, our vision is to build a smart, organized & sustainable city where new businesses are created to deliver a milestone in economic growth, well-being & prosperity.
Development of people of city very important bcoz they can also join hands with govt.
If govt makes people stronger in all the ways people will always with govt only.
If city only bcome smart what is the use.if people become smarter and richer .our govt income also will be very high and day by day there may huge growth for govt..if people have capacity den nothing will be impossible.if govt makes only city smart people will not be happy. Let govt utilise people talent n capacity by developi
And we have our own natural resources and talents. Please make perfect utilisation.
