The following points should find an impetus:

1. A response based system/portal to recognize various public issues in terms of sewerage, electricity and other basic amenities to enable MCC to work on priority issues on a ticket based system to solve area wise issues.

2. Enter into agreements with companies in and around specific areas to help develop the areas in return for autonomy of investment.

3. The local public bodies should be enabled for participation from the ppl living there.

The major issue of Mangalore's internal roads is that the roads are often found broken and water logged, due to which the areas remain slushy and muddy. The handing down of the roads' management to local level authorities with an interactive community between the contractors, local representatives and the MCC to monitor such issues should be present.

I believe that the greater city limits should have the uninterrupted power supply and faster resolution of electricity issues. It is often seen that upto 2-3 days is required for power resolution.
