4) Rain water harvesting system in collabration of water authority with Flats, Apartments, Public and Private Office complexes.
5) Multilevel paid parking plazas at important and congested roads to avoid haphazard parking.
6) Green corridors on roads in collabration with corporate companies to maintain gardens along roads.
7) Subways / Skywalks (with escallators upwards) at major junctions for crossing roads.
1) Centralized Sewage/Drainage system with pumping facilities connected to nearby water bodies to prevent water logging.
2) Garbage Reception facilities - Collection bins (at least 1 large bin (3-4 m3) every km which can be cleared on a daily basis by self unloading trucks). This can prevent people throwing garbage wherever they find space. Also segregated receptacles for plastic litter and contracting agencies for recycling of the same.
3) Pedestrian paths and solar powered LED street lights.
Sir development of satellite cities can reduce the problem of crowded cities.Moreover water bodies have to be cleaned and effective water transport system can be put in place.
No Smart City Without Footpaths. Pl make walkable, stumble-free, and encroachment-free footpaths in every smart city for ordinary citizens, particularly for the elderly and children. There cannot be a smart city without footpaths.

Things that makes a city smarter are its capabilities to enhance life in the city, its disaster management capabilities, smart environment friendly energy sources, Pedestrian friendly roads, better living facilities with the ease of getting support at finger tip and much more. Sir the condition of roads needs to be improved.Rubberized roads are more durable and safe.Flyovers can be constructed to deal with traffic problems.CCTV cameras shall be installed in public places to induce safety.Cyber parks shall take initiative in spreading digital literacy among the residents.Jana Sevana kendras shall be established which will be a one stop solution for gaining access to various services. More reliable public transport system within the city.Special services for elderly
1) Provide attention to sanitation facilities.
2) Plan for storm water drainage system within the city as well as to outskirts.
3) Extend development plans for tourism; eg. Muziris Harbour View is a great opportunity for an outsider to explore the historical monuments.
4) Water Supply system to be improved. Similar to Delhi Jal Board, this can be started from each railway stations and to extend to major bus stations as well as taxi / auto stands.
1) Provision of Dust bins/ garbage at least 1 no for every 100-200 sqm area, in Kochi city as well as Taluk areas like Kanayannoor etc, and Vans, vehicles for collection of Garbage from all bins every evening.
2) Every house to have a rain water harvesting system, so as to recharge the ground water table by collection of rain water from the roof tops.
3) Kerala Police mobile app for safety of Ladies, esp travelling alone at night, alert Police stn nearby, till she reaches home.
