a engineering student dont know how to do wiring in our house. But local electrician can do this work easily. so people do not have practical knowledge in their studies. current repair,tv repair motor repair, plumber, carpenter, tailor, computer repair these all must be teach in vocational education. so many students get their self employment. so please introduce vocational education from primary education to higher education. Then we get skill full students. make in india successful.

In order to suppport the much needed Make In India programme, we need to prepare our kids for the anticipated demand of skilled youth. A carefully prepared vocational education programme needs to be integrated along with the country's secondary and post secondary education. Our education system must work towards the availability of effective skill based education in schools.

The original concept of Indian vocational Education is informal and within family. A tailor can prepare his child as the best tailor. In the same way when a child sits with an artisan, he can learn best and in informal way. He then himself develops the further skills in that field. So we should provide vocational education in collaboration with grass root vocationals and not the degree bearers. The practical knowledge in this field in very important than theory.
