*PSBs must be merged to form maximum 5 to 7 mega banks with large capital base.*All documents & processes in the PSBs must be digitized& e-enabled. * PSBs are to be brought under the ambit of Companies Act, 2013 instead of standalone legislations.*PSBs should have uniform approach in terms of processes and approach.*Merged PSBs should operate in different sectors as leaders and compete against private sector banks in the respective areas rather than among themselves.

1) make design / format of all the paying-in-slips, cheques, all the other bank docs similar. 2) remove the restriction of ATM withdrawals, no one is interested to operate it for just fun. 3) I have applied for Internet banking nearly 6 to 7 times for my account in bank of India, but I didn't get activation code / password / password yet. While in ICICI I got the full kit along with the password and login name the moment I opened my account. Please order the banks to make the procedure easy.

Also for your information bankers put there blood to heart in work to earn profits for their bank. As compared to other government offices bank provides service on immediate basis. This is a true fact on reality ground basis if practically seen. Bankers who perform all the tasks in order to run economy as all govt offices are linked to them like pensions, subsidy schemes, govt business, etc. Every sector is directly or indirectly linked to banks. Just analyse work load and staff strength/branch/b

The Banks are the Back Bone of any economy and its development. It is uneconomical when bank have so many holidays. Our working capital requirement increase many fold . One holiday adds upto 10% increase in working capital. Then the latest is that clearence have become very slow due to scanning process of the cheques. The no. of holidays is highest for banks and with these kind of holidays it is tough on the fund requirements for industry.it is serious.Clearance of cheques should be 24X7 365 days

Sir I have to deal with the Bank every day because I Head the Business of one of its subsidiaries I come from the Market. The only thing that can improve the efficiency of the Banks is to Take away the job security by retiring 10 to 30 percent of the workforce compulsorily every year and not let anyone continue in the PSB for more than 15 years. The Chairman of the Bank should always be from the Market and they should be held accountable for growth and NPA creation.

Hon'ble PM of india in suggestion to improve the performance of PSU Banks There is strong need to revamp the policies made by them. NPA figure is growing at pace rate and their provisions is eroding the hard earned profits. Also, it must be in due consideration that there must be strong law for defaulters who are responsible for NPA figures must be treated severally and strictly.Just make a strong law and action to be taken immediately for all wilfull defaulters.

Dear sir,
Currantly public sector banks are in immense pressure from NPA's . Bankers are trying to curb the same, but there is large corporate who defalt willfully. And there is mechanism to tackle them but the process is very lengthy having loo-falls in the law, that benefits the large corporate.
Gov sponsored schemes, KCC 's are increasing the NPA's. Earlier gov has waved the farmers loans that have created the mindset among them that gov will waveoff. Pl make better mechanism to tackle the

The Nationalised banks follow double standards when considering loan proposdals from SMEs.
Whereas no personal guarantees/collaterals are demanded from Corporates, the banks inssit on personal guaranteees and collaterals from small entrepreneurs. If the buiness goes bad, the entrepreneur is on the road. Residential houses must be exempted from such collaterals. This is the main reason why many young entrepreneurs are afraid to start a new business because the family discourages him.

The reduction in stressed assets to generate more surplus is the key for improving the performance of PSBs. For this revival of economy and making default costlier for borrowers will act as biggest solution. The performance of private sector banks are better only due to PSBs poor segmentation of customers as the better customers get attracted towards private banks at the same time the private one know when to shed a customer who again goes back to PSBs. Defaulters must pay for their deeds.
