Not to sit 50+ in cash counters,, Recruit young people.Employees of the bank should be 1% of total bank accounts. Spacious place with frequent parking place. Bank should keep guards, help desk. Learn public sector bank employees MANNER. A Target should be fixed to every employees.
The another most important thing is STOP the PSU banks to grant huge amount of loans to a bankrupted company like KINGFISHER airlines.Who take the responsibility of 7000 crore NPA of KFA? Take some stern actions to those who embezzle with taxpayers money.
Increase the employee who has age 22-35 years.

With Jan Dhan Yojya running well encourage public sector banks to incorporate new technologies like mobile banking/payment and money transfer and make country cash free economy in next 2-3 year. That will help curb corruption and black money issue as well.
Dear Sir,
After working In a Private, Foriegn & A Public sector Bank these are the few changes which I observed and suggest that could help the performance of PSB's:
1) Employees in PSB, due to their age and Job Security are adamant to learn new skills and method which is basically because of the mindset, this needs to be changed with Trainings and similar Programmes
2) Renumeration of the employees need to be changed and should have a variable component based on performance.
Creat full fledged Board of Directors with eminent personalities from financial and economic field. Empower them to take decisions for all round development with competing each other. Take quick actions against nonperformers or culprits. Let there be customer first attitude.
