The information provided here ...
1.PSU Bank employee salary should be market driven. It should be different from bank to bank depending upon profitability, not dead IBA structure. 2. Atleast 40% lateral recruitment should be from OPEN market.3.MD post should be for minimum 5 years and be open recruitment for MD Post. 4.Union Activity should be stopped . These unions are major problem creators for PSU Bank culture.5.Do away with certain obsolete HR policies in PSU Banks.6.Fear factor like CBI etc should be removed from empl.
If only, the ground staff can be changed in terms of their customer attitude & work ethics, the situation would improve to a large extent. I have found these PS banks employees to be full of themselves, no regard for the customers, treating them at their own will & unruly & rude at times too. The behavioral change can itself make a big difference. customer friendliness should be no. 1 priority for these PS Banks.
Following changes may be adopted
1. An apex watch dog may be created under vigilance Commission. All loan sanctions above 100 crore to a group of company be vetted by them
2. All restructuring / waiver of loans above 10 crores be posted on public domain
3 pay package and extension or another assignment must be based on performance. pay package of senior management of banks may be divided in 2 parts - 1. fixed basic salary 2. package based on performance parameters.
First of all due to wage revision issues there is severe discontent among all PSB. Bring them at par other central govt employees. 2- Due to financial inclusion andPMJDY many new branches are opened daily and this has created staff shortage due to which customer service is severely hit. 3- Decentralise the power to bank managers in purchasing items and equipments related to bank infrastructure to compete with private sector.lastly dont overburden them with all new yojana implementation.
Willful default of Bank's money should be made a non-bailable offence and legislation to this effect should be passed by Parliament.
Debt waiver of farm loans or any type of loan should be banned by the Government as it vitiates the recovery climate of the country

1. In india there are 20 PSU bank out of which only 3-4 are in sound position and remaining other are in very worst position as far as appraisal standard, work culture, Human Resource Development are concerned.
2. All the 20 PSB should be merged and only 4-5 bank should be formed, so bank will become strong and can work efficiently.
3. All the PSB are doing competition among themselves and due to this Companies do negotiations with the PSB Bank which ultimately make loss to other PSB.
1. PSB employees are very short of staff, due to this a person is overloaded with work with no infrastructure no Internal Control System feels to difficult to work for.
2.PSB emplloyees are getting very low salary as compare to salary paid by Private sector Bank..PSB enployees are getting a salary of 20% as compare to salary of Pvt Sector Banks..hence pay package should be streamlined and should be in commensurate with salary of Pvt Sector Banks...
Improve human resource quality by improving the wages...quality of life of an employee etc.
Remove fear psychosis from the banking environment which is acting as a hindrance to the employees to perform.
Give option to those old class of people who are there in the banks who wants only to peacefully retire from the banks
Wage revision should be timely and fast.
The staff should be given training in customer service.
Technology to be used to the maximum to give full access to customers .
1. All the PSU Bank are focusing for Business Development e.g. Advances and Deposits but they are not having infrastructure for proving service to the customers. PSB should adopt new technology effectively.
2.in PSB there is Reparation of Works many times but there is no value addition due to this it takes a long times and give no results.
3. There Should be well placed Internal Control System in PSB, which is absent. they are just doing formalities to delay the work...
