Start Date :
Mar 01, 2016
Last Date :

00:00 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. ...
As part of e-governance, felicity for depositing water bills and electricity bill and like should provided with a public booths specifically designed for it. Thereby one can deposit at any time of day as per his convenience but not in office where office hour is maintained.
Both the left and right banks of Siang river may be used for tourism purpose. In this regard, the department of tourism of city should take initiatives. Sanction be accorded against each monument of the freedom fighters of the Adis for maintenance. As these monuments of Adis located/erected at different areas under Adi areas usually and frequently visited by the foreign visitors.
The Smartphone has become very affordable and most of the household has at least one Smartphone. In addition to voice communication, it is being increasingly used for accessing online internet services. However, the mobile network coverage is not being extended upto the last mile in East Siang district. Therefore, mobile network coverage needs to be extended to remote areas so that every citizen can get benefit from online e-governance services.
We are now operating in a global economy
where we compete for commerce and
skilled labour. We must strive for maximum
amenity and liveability for our urban
communities and to attract visitors, whether
they are here for business or leisure.
Today E-Waste is also a great threat. The environmental effects can be horrific. Most electronic waste goes through a recycling system called a WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which recycles 95-98% of E-Waste. Bio-Toilets may be provided where toilets constructed in slum areas cannot be connected to drain lines. Rating may be done for all wards of Pasighat every year to promote competition among them on green and clean.
e-governance is an important aspect that Pasighat needs to focus on as well. The official website of Pasighat is not up-to-date with a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes and is in urgent need of up-gradation. The website must be user-friendly, more attractive, have facilities for online registration of ILP, have the contact details of hotels for accommodation, and provide more details on packages and a forum for online discussion and suggestions.
Socio-cultural tourism is aims at educating the tourists about the rich and varied Adi culture and educating the residents of Pasighat of the principle of “athithi devo bhava” and its economic implications. Home stays should be encouraged for this purpose. During the festivals of the Adis, the tourists should be encouraged to participate in “Delong Poknam”, “Ponung Nunam” and “Ponung Moman” to have a wholesome experience.
In cities the challenges and opportunities of
productivity, sustainability and liveability are
part of an interrelated and dynamic system.
Addressing one goal can have an impact, either
positively or negatively, on the others. For
example, efficient public transport can address
congestion and improve access to jobs and
opportunity (productivity); it can also reduce
greenhouse gas emissions (sustainability) and
enable affordable access to education, health and
recreational facilitie
Fire brigade vehicles should be equipped with modern facility and the staffs are to be given training in regular interval as the present ones are unable to cope when in need. Many more water refilling points have to be providing at various locations for quick refilling stations.
In the event of natural calamity, citizen is to be warned of with alert system. Though the bank of the Siang River has been protected by construction o flood protection dykes, bunds etc, care has to be taken regarding its periodical maintenance lest last flood do not repeat.
