With mobile and e-banking becoming common in urban India, how can we take similar services to rural India using similar technologies?
Sir,.. I am an IT professional working in a remote area where there is perhaps no network at all. Although government has recommended and initiated smart classes in every schools in the State (Odisha) but due to such network problem these smart classes have become useless. So i think this network problem should be dealt immediately by enhancing / broadening mobile frequency so that they can easily avail the online services like e-banking, e-library, etc.
Dear sir.....i think education level is most important thing. So we have to improve the quality of education in rural school n time to time awareness functions should be organize
Convert all post office/Gram Panchayat/ Banks as front end of all Government departments. Public should go to that office and should give his Aadhaar number and his need. There should not be any application/ records to be submitted. Use Aadhaar e-KYC service for pulling his demographic data. Use authentication service for avoiding impersonations. Let all other departments work as back end for providing service.
To reach e-servies authentically to the last persons three things are must. Unique identity, network to reach him and bank account to deposit his money. Already lots of work in happening through Digital India.
Mobile is one best solution to reach people. Many people use smart phone in rural India. THROUGH A LAW MANDATE ALL DEPARTMENTS TO COME OUT WITH MOBILE APPS. Make more wifi areas. Make broad band a fundamental right of the citizens.
I also think that we need to have Indian e-mail services hosted & maintained by NIC.
The main activity practiced in Rural India is agriculture. So, my effort is in making Traditional method of doing agriculture as innovative and modern. This is "DiGiTECH Farming"

To make digital India Village are needed for most developing. So Gram panchayat is the one step of this in G.P. most of them are under Paperless and most of work done with computer. Most of villagers are one simple account which related with NREGS Job Card so if we cover NREGS job card holder we will see more success. Maximum villagers could not know to use internet for that we need more branches of Rural Bank and ATM machine. GP will arrange the programme such a training how to use that.
To make Digital India happening right upto the grass root level, the ICT social-enterprising model if uses as National ICT Highway, which I will like to name "Sudarshan", the empowered Chakra of Lord Krishna.
This ICT social-enterprise model is proven with 100 thousand plus ICT kiosks existing who has done tremendous account opening work in Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
All departmental services can ride on this ICT Network providing huge employment through Government schemes,
This is called selling a product. Ask them what and how they want and provide the service in their format, they will happily take it. Ask each e seva operator to give feedback on this, you will get a lot of suggestions to make it popular.
1. Village people have to be made aware of the economic benefit of getting e services rather than physically going to city to get services. What saving they will get and how convenient is the e service.
2. The Government machinery like DMs, ADMs, Tehsildars, Revenue officers should go and teach the people what they are offering and how people can get benefit out of it.
3. Small things like paying bill to any authority including school fees of children is to be facilitated.
