Ticketing System on Indian Railways

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :

Reserved tickets can be booked at Computerised Passenger Reservation System centres operated by Indian Railways and also online through website www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets ...
sir I have a simple advice to curb corruption n improve income. I have recently travelled from Chennai to Vijayawada in tamilnadu sf express. I had no reservation but tc took 100 and gave me birth. don't be foolish to enquire me reg this. my advise is give a ticketing machine to tc and allow him to allot vacant berths by taking fixed amount. before the train starts inform these berths are vacant from here to there. those who need will take that.
next my advice is while sending squads plz give them spot ticket machines. take a nominal fine of rs 10 per stop from start. or rs 100. if you put huge fine you will encourage corruption plz understand.
I think we have to start also spot booking system on remain sits after the all talkat sits book. due to system anyone can book spot confirmed ticket half hour of arrival of train at station and also get confirmed ticket from over the counter 10 mins of arrival train.
due to system, rail get extra money and we can stop black ticket..
thanks
IRCTC mobile app should have the provision to check PNR status, of all ticket that has been booked both in online as well as offline....
dalal ko teckt milati kaha se hai pata karo Irctc co in ke Kama rane vale sabhi log mile vote Hai ! Ina sabhi nokri se nikalo
Ticketing system is in very bad condition. Employees do not want to do their duty properly. Long lines and late work always a headache for passengers. Station like New Delhi,NZM,etc has this problem very much.People who have Android or basic knowledge can avail the facility of e-ticket but what for poor and uneducated persons. What is there for them who r differently able persons. What for the diseased and pregnant ladies they also let have to stand in row. So please think about them too!
tickets system changed
Reserved tickets must also have reporting time for passengers 15-30 min before departure like some private and govt buses have. Also passengers who have not yet reached 5 min before departure can be called up on mobile no provided. This is practiced in some private buses. Also reserved tickets can be checked at entrance of coaches itself. This will minimize no of checking staff requirement on board.
Sir, railway ticketing mai ek sudhar ye kar dijiye ki, jis bhi passanger ka reservation he or train agar late he, to vah reservation ticket general ticket mai count ho jaye
real time status of all train seats can be controlled by giving a ticket checking machines to all ticket checkers like some govt. buses are followd for tickets.real time status can be transmitted to passengers automatically using a centralised control system. this can reduce the corruption involved in ticket waiting clearing.
chart preparation after all cancel tickets should be real-time this may be a real time display
if corruption can be controlled by resolving all complains immediately and optimized use of resources then railway could be high profit making organization
indian railway should use gps system to locate trains in real time..such as taxi and cab services providers like uber and ola are using to locate and manage their cabs..why can't we also do this.it is .just a simple and easy way and also cost affective..
