ye ek badi samsya hai ki hum badi badi baat karte hain digital rail ki,par beena dalal ke help ke koi bhi tatkal ticket milta nahi, tatkal booking ke time pe ya to login hota hi nahi site pe,agar muskil se login ho bhi gaya to ticket within minute khhatam ho jata hai, agar available dikhata bhi hai to transaction karte karte session expire hom jata hai. ye badi samasya hai. kripaya ese jald se jald suljhaye.

reg my earlier post about unreserved ticket, pl read, - to allow agents to sell tickets. reg, ticket charges, while going in a sleeper coach in a long distance train, where seats are empty and in day time, the seats should be allowed for the sitting passengers at normal rates, instead of sleeper charges.when i go from mysore to bangalore, many coaches in long distance trains go chennai, jaipur/ tamilnadu/ hubli etc,are empty upto bangalore,as the traffic from mysore to end destination are less

ticket booking thru IRCTC needs much to be improved. it is slow when needed. there should be many more agents in every locality ,road for booking tickets.there is no seperate counter for senior citizens and ladies in many stations, when complained to the station master, they cite lack of staff. tatkal tickets should be allowed to be booked even early like 48 hrs. there should be option of premium tickets for all classes, pay higher price and ensure confirmed ticket.

Continuing from my earlier IRCTC post... We have aged parents to take care, just think how easy it would be for us to book a Rail ticket online and send the e Tickets. If I can do for airlines why not for the railways? At present we have to catch hold of touts to get our job done.

A few days back, I was trying to register myself for railway ticket booking in the IRCTC website. The funny thing is that they require an Indian telephone number. Being a NRI, I do not have one. Hence could not register. However, could not get the logic for Indian Telephone no. Feel, we should be able to register fro anywhere in the world (with local no.). Incase while booking ticket, It can be verified by sending OTP. For foreign mobile, additional charge in the tickets can be included.

authorised agents should be enlisted and encouraged to buy unreserved tickets in every village, town, city- in all major localities , in every major road. ticket vending machines should be in every platform in every train station- small or big, so that there is no need to stand in queue for tickets. for computer illiterates, there can be kiosks like tea shops near any market area. i have seen abroad, in europe, where vending machines are provided for even suburban trains.

My suggestion is to use light weight material in construction of boggy ( Wegan ). because of these we can make somuch lighter boggy which is moved by railway electric engine. Due to low weight of all boggy, we can save electricity or we can make higher speed of train with same power.
