i am an employee in indian railway. Being a large institution, Indian Railway is sea of corruption. Every table (Bottom to Top) has a fix percentage of contract value, if given some favour more money. Officers are taking illegal benefit having railwaymen as private servant at their houses. there is no effective measure on this type of corruption. all gov. servants are one on the issue of stopping corruption. how can it be expected corruption less india. men as like me can only give information

IAM TIRED BY THE REPLIES OF RAILWAY AUTHORITIES AND THE OFFICIALS. PLSSS ALL OTHERS PLSS COMMENT ON THE SECURITY OF TRAIN- i had a nightmarish experience when unidentified men stole 25 tola gold, Rs 10,000 and two mobile phones near Nandurbar railway station. The incident took place in the AC coach of Howrah-Porbandar Express.

MODI SIR -PLS DO SOMETHING -- I had a nightmarish experience while coming by train when the train reached Nandurbar, I was woken up by my wife’s screams. Someone had stolen her purse as well as my mother’s. The train stopped in a forest-like area and I was too scared to venture out. Also there was not a single policeman inside the compartment. Even the train stopping in a densely vegetated area was strange--RAILWAY POLICE INVESTIGATING THE CASE FROM LAST 9 MNTS. DO SOMETHING FOR A BARODA CITIZEN

Passenger are being cheated by RPF who are collection money from them in case passenger not having proper ticket and waiting for TTEs to confirm tickets. RPF are for Safety. They should do their work not TTEs work. Solution- 1. Awareness announcement at station to not pay to RPF. 2. any Complain No. against them

A major problem i observed during train travel is Passengers getting cheated by unauthorised TTEs who are collecting money from passengers who are carrying gen ticket want to upgrade, any mistake in age/sex printing on ticket. Solution- People should be aware by a awareness programme to be conducted by railway at every station for 1. Dress code for TTEs who should wear when coming for ticket checking,2. Show of Reservation sheet to confirm he is a true TTEs and any other proof. Please consider

We always hear that the deficit arising out of subsidized passenger fares is being compensated by goods and freight trains, but I feel the deficit arises more from state based local passenger trains like DMU & EMU where the commuters mostly travel ticketless - a situation prevalent in Northern states like Bihar, UP, MP etc. People rarely purchase tickets and it is perennial feature. Railway should do something to stop this seepage of income.
