IRCTC site is a den of corruption. Touts doesn't allow genuine passenger to book on trains under high demand. The software is made like such a way with Captcha in three stages which take time for genuine passengers to pay through credit cards by that time touts buy ticket using their connection with railway staffs manning the counter. this has happened several times for me trying to book ticket from Bangalore to Howrah. Correct 8 am tried to book which shows 101 3A availability but can't buy.

There should be audit on property of TTE. 99% r corrupt. If fould guilty take their property and sell it for developing railway. And leave them with warning!

Waiting list ticket cancelled if it is not confirmed.cant u develop a software wherein a TTE can check its is genuine Waiting list ticket or not?

There can be light weight coaches, and satellite enabled communication. we can have more general coaches. These ministers should see the crowd in general ward. I am sure their soul will stir. Is it not inhuman? people are dumped like vegetables. Even if general coach exceed beyond platform its not a problem, coz we do not mind walking little bit for convenient.

This ETicket is waste if you want to book tatkal ticket. even if you have 3G or 4G speed u will not able to book. Govt should have rather a bidding system from general seats. 10% of the seats should be Bid. For Eg if there are 100 seats in a train. 15 seat for tatkal, 70 for general, 5 for VVIP, 10 for Biding. For this there should be valet in website. N0w out of 10 seats 2 seats could be allotted to TOP bidder, 1 Hr before chart 2 seats 5 Hr,2 seats 10Hr, 2 seat 12Hr b4 chart.help rail

Since not many can plan a railway journey 4 months in advance as suggested in 2015 Railway Budget, can 20% reservation be allowed 4 months before travel while remaining 80% be kept as usual for booking 2 months in advance.

Today, I have heard the news that out of 103 people 40 Policemen are caught in Magistrate checking without ticket travelling. So I have to suggest that this exercise could repeat on regular basis on each and every route. So that People can afraid for without ticket travelling. This will securely increase the Railway Revenue.

IRCTC started to book online handicapped concession tickets through IRCTC website and says that keep "handicapped photo id" issued by railways with you. But till date no any Railway Zone has stared to issue such type of "handicapped photo id". This is my request to Railway Department that kindly start the process to issue such type of "handicapped photo id" as soon as possible in all Railway Zones.

I suggest to start provide Facility to book online platform ticket ticket through IRCTC.

Can we please another discussion for Platform related service, complain, improvements? I suggest to implement automatic platform ticket check machine while entering into platform. There are many people enters platform without platform ticket. Manual checking is very rare and is not effective.
