When booking waiting list tickets provide information about the probability of getting confirmation as like in the website trainman.in. This will help people to make some decisions. Also last minute they may not struggle to find other alternative.

1. E-Platform ticket - E-wallet linked to mobile No. based on which one can book platform tickets by mobile. One can credit own e-wallet with say Rs.50/- and send SMS whenever entering station to receive guests.E-platform ticket is sent to mobile which saves inconvenience of waiting in queue as well non availability of change at counters 2. Online option to book unreserved tickets as well in the last minute will save waiting in the queue

Ticketing system on railways should be fully automated. There should not be any prs counter at stations. Only atvm shall be provided. Also tickets shall booked through internet or mobile or atvm kept in public places like post office, bus stand or even a shopping mall where railway can get revenue also. However concept of automatic cancellation of eticket needs to be done after 24 hrs in place of doing it immediately after chart preparation so that there is flexibility for wating list passenger.

it would be more easier for commuters if they add an additional feature for taking unreserved tickets online, people wont need to stand in queue & waste paper and reduce the agents selling unreserved tickets at high price during holidays.it would easy to verify the authenticity of the ticket

Our railway offices are mainly composed of old systems of commands which takes time and cannot be quicker like in other countries .They have present system in which JAVA programers can develop Programs in which it will take only few seconds to book it and transfer transactions. To send message through these programs automatically after one messages over a particular number selected by Railway officers

Ladies Quota ticket should be significanthy increased. For Ex Brindavan express from Chennai to Bangalore has only 10 ladies quota ticket. I see lot of women travel in general quota , where they travel with general public and some times there is no space to entry exit train for intermediate stations. Solutions:1 Number of ladies compartment should be increased. 2. Number of ladies quota ticket reservation should be increased to 30% of total bookings, (I see definitely it is going to be full),
