Requires at least 5 general coaches in every long route express trains...
Indias most population is lower middle class...they have right to travel at longer distance with cheaper cost...

We need to integrate Train enquiry into the mobile application of IRCTC. Real time status of trains should be updated and in case I am not able to get the information about my train, I should be able to connect to the customer service( A nominal charge should be there otherwise people will directly contact customer service everytime). I should be able to chat with the customer service executive and ask my queries. This will make our system really effective.

For the double compartment coach many technical points need to be checked like Engine capability, height of compartment, height of bridges in the route, safe speed limit etc. This kind of compartments can mainly be provided in areas near to industrial zones and busy routes.

My view is not on Train Inquiry System, I want to discuss about rush/space in trains. I see long waiting list for sleeper seats and rush in general coach. I have seen some trains with double compartment (upper and lower). If this kind of arrangement can be implemented in the other trains then at least rush in the general coach can be reduced. With this arrangement government can earn more money & passengers can travel with ease.

Station master should clear controller how much time he will issue for green signal.so that engine switch off.and reduce the rush and traffic.mainly trains late in winter due to suntting problem in big station because one by one many trains late due to suntting. Please make a special line for suntting engines from rack.it is major problem of train late.

Honorable prime minister please devlop semi engine which has run for desiel and electric both.in electric line use electric engine and with out electric line use desiel engine.by this method desiel will be save.and avoid Desiel engine stand mode that is starts 24 hour.and waste the desiel.problem in starting of desiel engine and wastage of 25 liter desiel for start run and wastage in maal gaadi and getting signal issues wastes huge quantity of desiel or devlop new tecnique to restart

it must be replaced by any other toll free number like 1800-XXX-XXX . Through that number,the call will automaticaly transfered to customer care representative who tell us about all information like PNR,Trains for required station,Alternate Train,Train Schedule etc. It should be available in all regional languages.

I travelled on 01-01-2015 from Jalandhar City to Delhi.But after reaching at railway station at 21-45 hrs,I came to know that train was running more than 5 hours late.I was forced to wait for my train in severe cold for 6 hrs.If I had be informed earlier,it would be extremely helpful for me.So,I request that in the case of late running/cancellation/any unusual circumstances, passangers must be informed through SMS/IVRS on mobile no.which they mention in their requisition form for reservation.
