1) A digital board should be hanged inside each coach, which will display upcoming station, expected reach-time & Delay/In time.
2) Automatic SMS will be sent to passengers Mobile No. with the current Train running status. After departing from each stoppage, an SMS containing the details like upcoming station, Expected time etc. will be sent automatically to the passengers cellphone. Obviously this service is optional & additional charges would be applied.

Clean india:: In local train compartments or at railway ticket counters plenty of posters are pasted creating an ugly look, to stop this nonsense the mobile number printed on the poster must be blocked so that advertiser loose their interest. Necessary law can be introduced in this regard.

In my suggestion to improve railway.

1. Lease out the railway station to private big corporate companies to maintain and make they can put their ads. and govt. will get the money from them.
2. Lease out the trains for ads. so they can make paint outside the trains to the corporates & give the maintenance to them so the railway will earn alot and system will be much more better.

Thought not related to Train Enquiry System. THE DEPARTMENT OF INDIAN RAILWAY should order there all employees to plant a tree in the open land of indian railway and post a selfie with the plant to the site of indian railway. They bear the cost of the plant. Indian Railway is the biggest employer in the world. It occupies a total land as much of a small forest but most of the land is unused /barren. My suggession will use barren land as well to green india and will not make burden on budget.

All the facilities/services (i.e. concession passes, low fare for senior citizen special trains etc) are not popularized or advertised the the department hence most of the requiring citizens arenot able to use such facilities

passengers may be encouraged to carry a small tumbler for drinking water. Instead of providing bottled mineral water , potable water closet may be installed or built in at the time of mfg of coach. Bottled water may be provided but highly charged.

Sealed dust collecting bins may be fitted inside coaches where passengers can put garbage now it is just thrown outside window creating mess.
