continued.... then when a passenger like me will board the train he is amazed to see the whole compartment empty. now you can imagine how much is the loss to the railways and inconvenience to the common man.you can easily go around new delhi where the agents are selling tickets as if selling vegetable in the streets.that is how the railways is in loss in the passenger segment.

dear railway, pl remove the touts from the reservation system. they along with some corrupt officials engage in malpractice of prebooking the tickets and cancel the same if they do not get the passengers the loss is negligible to them. however, if a single ticket is sold by them to a passenger 5 times the value of ticket. they booked the profit. this way when a genuine person goes to buy the ticket. he sees waitlist or no room. pl look into it.

Sasank sekhar maharana 4 secs ago Team, As per the railway rule, identity proof is mandatory for ticketing .Also make a rule that the person or the agent who is doing ticket for others his identity proof number should be entitled in ticketing database.also make a limitation of 10-12 time an id number can be used. if it is exceeding then proper action is to be taken against that agent or person id number basis
