Proposal: National Physical Fitness and Vitamin D Program for Primary School Children Objective To improve the health, fitness, and overall development of children by introducing regular physical fitness assessments and ensuring daily outdoor activity in schools. Key Recommendations 1. Annual Physical Fitness Testing Conduct age-appropriate physical fitness assessments for all students from the beginning of primary school until completion of primary education. Assess endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, strength, height, weight, vision, and general health. Use the results to identify children who may benefit from additional health or physical activity support, rather than for ranking or punishment. 2. Daily Outdoor "Vitamin D Period" Introduce a mandatory 30-minute outdoor period each school day. Schedule it during times that provide safe sunlight exposure while avoiding extreme heat. Children can participate in supervised activity

Dear Prime Minister of India, Honorable Shri Narendra Modiji Saheb, my name is Shri Sushilkumar Kulkarni. I am an IT professional, and I am making a request to you from Calgary, Canada, that you implement a population control law. I listen to your Mann Ki Baat and appreciate your selfless service to the nation. After 2014, there has been a lot of change in the country, and our India is progressing rapidly. Our goal is to make it a developed nation, but the growing population is a major obstacle in this. I am saying this because its impact is visible in every sector. Below are some of its effects. 1. Due to the increasing population, there are crowds everywhere—buses, trains, planes, roads, schools, etc. This is having a deep impact on everything. Due to character limits, Please check attached file for further details-

Fit india launched by govt of india 19th August 2019. The games among school students very useful to growth of physical, mental & social development. I think in current scenario girls many times face sexual abuses. Family member sometimes unable to protect her in some vulnerable places by toxic peoples. So i want to request to Govt if martial art compulsory among high school girls then they are able to protect them by themselves. Thank you MyGov. At a time organise a class of ARCH counsellors in high schools like other classes to grow their mental strength and awareness on drug addiction . Reduce suicidal tendancy among youth. Even parents need counselling because some pressurise their child to do beyond their abilities or capacities. As a result when child don't fulfill parents desires accordingly then they choose such types of steps. Parents indirectly force they to take such types of decision . And skills identification expert very essential from class 8,9,10. To engage them accordin

Finally, awareness campaigns, training resources, and clear implementation guidelines should accompany the certification to help organizations understand the requirements and adopt best practices. Periodic renewal of certification will ensure sustained commitment and continuous improvement. Overall, the Fit India Certification has the potential to become a nationally recognized benchmark for promoting health, fitness, and well-being. A simple, inclusive, technology-enabled, and evidence-based certification framework will encourage widespread participation and contribute significantly to building a healthier, more active, and fitter India.

The framework should place special emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring equal opportunities for women, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and individuals from rural and underserved communities. Encouraging activities such as cycling, walking, yoga, traditional sports, and community fitness events can make the initiative more engaging and culturally relevant. Integrating environmentally sustainable practices, such as promoting green spaces and active mobility, would provide additional social and environmental benefits.

To maintain credibility, the certification process should incorporate periodic verification through independent assessments or random audits. Recognition through digital badges, public acknowledgment, awards, and incentives would further encourage institutions to sustain their efforts and motivate others to participate.

Make the certification process simple, transparent, and easy to understand. Include schools, colleges, workplaces, villages, and community organizations of all sizes. Use practical fitness criteria that encourage regular physical activity rather than focusing only on competition. Ensure assessments are inclusive for people of all ages, genders, and persons with disabilities. Promote awareness about nutrition, mental well-being, yoga, and healthy lifestyles along with physical fitness. Introduce digital tracking and online application facilities to make certification more accessible. Provide periodic re-certification and incentives to encourage continuous improvement. Create district-level monitoring and feedback systems to maintain fairness and quality. These are among the areas the government has been seeking feedback on while strengthening the certification framewor

The revised certification should actively promote the concept of "Green Fitness" by linking physical activity with environmental stewardship and outdoor ecological education. Schools should be evaluated on their efforts to conduct physical education in natural, unpolluted environments rather than solely inside indoor gymnasiums. Criteria could include the creation and maintenance of open green spaces, the planting of trees around playgrounds to improve air quality, and the organization of nature walks, cross-country runs, or outdoor obstacle courses. Schools that utilize eco-friendly, sustainable materials for their sporting infrastructure should receive additional weightage. This dual-focus approach ensures that while students are building their cardiovascular and muscular health, they are simultaneously developing a profound respect and connection to the natural environment, fostering a generation that is both physically robust and deeply environmentally conscious.
