The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, invites citizens to participate in a Logo Design Competition for the Urban Challenge Fund.

The Urban Challenge Fund is a flagship initiative aimed at catalysing large-scale investments in India’s urban sector. It is designed to support cities in undertaking transformative projects across key focus areas such as Cities as Growth Hubs, Creative Redevelopment and Water & Sanitation. The Fund seeks to drive reforms-led urban development, enhance financial sustainability of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), and promote climate-resilient, citizen-centric infrastructure.

Through this competition, MoHUA aims to promote Janbhagidari by inviting creative and innovative logo designs that reflect the vision of India’s urban transformation. The selected logo will be adopted by the Ministry for official and promotional use.

The poster design, titled "The Blueprint of Progress," serves as a visual bridge between technical urban planning and the heartbeat of the community. By overlaying a rigid, professional blueprint with organic, hand-drawn elements. The symbolism is layered to reflect the Fund's core pillars: the technical grid represents Innovation and Reform in governance, while the "messy" human additions—like the playground sketch and "More Bikes!" notes—highlight Inclusivity and Citizen-Centric planning.

The Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) logo reflects India’s vision for sustainable urban transformation. The ascending skyline shows growth and modernization, the green leaf represents environmental responsibility, and the circular arrows symbolize innovation and inclusivity. Blue stands for trust, green for sustainability, and orange for prosperity. The modern UCF typography ensures clarity across all platforms.
