As part of Adoption Awareness Month 2026, the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens across India to participate in a 60–90 second video storytelling initiative to share inspiring narratives on legal adoption. Participants may present real-life experiences or creative stories that reflect the emotional, social, and legal dimensions of adoption under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
This initiative aims to foster empathy, spread awareness, and promote responsible adoption practices by highlighting the importance of transparent, lawful, and child-centric processes. Your story can inspire others to choose the right path and help create a society where every child finds a safe and loving home.
Content Guidelines:
1. Real-life adoption stories or creative narratives
2. Must promote legal adoption only
3. Should reflect child rights, transparency, and ethics
By submitting and sharing story, participants grant the Organisers the right to use, reproduce, publish, and display the content in the public domain for awareness and outreach purposes, without any claim for compensation.
Particiapation Guidelines:
1. Duration: 60–90 seconds
2. Format: MP4 (preferred), high resolution (minimum 720p), Vertical/reel format
3. Language: Hindi or English
4. Originality: Content must be original and not previously published
5. Consent: Written consent required for any identifiable individuals, especially children
6. Tone: Positive, sensitive, and respectful
6. Participants need to provide registration number which was provided for the adoption.
Gratifications
The top 10 performers will be awarded with ₹2,000 each
