Namaskar, I grew up in a place with plenty of open fields where playing outdoors was a natural part of childhood. Those playgrounds taught us teamwork, friendship, leadership, and how to win and lose together. Today, it breaks my heart to see young children spending hours on phones and television, while social media increasingly consumes teenagers' time. But can we blame them entirely? In metropolitan areas, open spaces are disappearing, and many of the remaining playgrounds are poorly maintained. Can we create an organization that maintains and manages these fields and brings children back to outdoor play? My idea is to create organized playgroups for different age groups, conducting football, cricket, traditional games, running, and fun team activities. The goal is not professional sports training—it is simply to help children play, socialize, and spend a few hours away from screens.

After presenting my oncology leadership journey at the 2024 UICC World Cancer Congress in Geneva, I recognized the global need to strengthen nurses' role in preventive oncology. With the support of DMER Maharashtra, we implemented a Training of Trainers program across 36 Government Medical College Hospitals. Two nurse leaders from each hospital were trained and subsequently educated colleagues, resulting in over 6,000 nurses being trained in breast cancer awareness and early detection within two months.
