Even though a ban exists.. plastic plates, cups and cutlery are still widely used at events and functions across the country due to low awareness and weak enforcement. I request the government to: 1) Increase public awareness campaigns on the existing ban, 2) Make eco-friendly alternatives (areca leaf, bagasse, paper) more affordable and available, 3) Strengthen enforcement especially in smaller towns.
