In the field of medical education, it’s well recognized that the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) is equivalent to MD/MS degrees. Therefore, the teaching experience of faculty members in DNB-accredited private institutions/hospitals should be acknowledged as equivalent to that of their MD/MS counterparts. Historically, one year of senior residency has been a mandatory requirement for faculty appointments. However, in 2025, the NMC revised its guidelines, allowing those working in smaller government hospitals (fewer than 250 beds) to be considered for faculty roles even without senior residency. By the same token, DNB faculty in DNB accredited private hospitals with more than 250 beds should also be considered for equivalent faculty positions based on their experience. This means these experienced DNB educators should be eligible to join medical colleges as Asst. Professors, Associate Professors, or Professors. This approach will help address huge faculty shortage in medical colleges

Hon’ble Prime Minister Sir, I request the Government to introduce strong and long-term policies to encourage citizens to adopt electric vehicles (EVs). EVs can reduce air pollution, fuel imports and transport costs while supporting India’s clean-energy goals. The Government should consider suitable incentives, affordable financing and lower upfront costs, especially for middle-class families, students, delivery workers and small businesses. Reliable and affordable charging stations should be expanded across cities, highways, towns and rural areas. Clear charging standards, battery recycling systems and support for Indian EV and battery manufacturing can increase public confidence. Greater focus on electric two-wheelers and public transport can accelerate adoption. A stable EV policy, combined with awareness and better infrastructure, can help create cleaner, healthier and more sustainable transportation for India.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Sir, I request greater focus on practical and industry-oriented education for students across India. Many students have academic qualifications but lack opportunities for hands-on training, internships, digital skills and career guidance. Technology can help provide quality learning and skill development opportunities to students, including those from rural and economically weaker backgrounds. Strengthening digital education, laboratories, internships and local skill centres can help young people become employable and contribute more effectively to India’s development.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Sir, I request you to highlight the role of India’s youth in nation-building, especially through education, technology and innovation. Many young people want to contribute to society but need better opportunities to learn, develop skills and participate in solving local problems. Technology can help connect citizens with government schemes, education, employment and public services, particularly in rural and underserved areas. I would also request greater focus on Odisha’s development, including education, digital infrastructure, rural development, employment and opportunities for young people. I believe that if our knowledge, technology and efforts are directed towards public welfare, the youth can become a strong force for Viksit Bharat. I would be grateful if you could encourage young citizens to actively participate in India’s development.

Honourable Prime Minister, will you be pleased to answer What measures are being taken for improving last mile governance? What measures are you taking for addressing the voice of youth? It would be pleasurable for the youth to hear about any planned youth outreach program. What Measures are being taken for making students as a stakeholders in fabrication of teachers curriculum?
