Do we know that the cost of living has almost doubled in the last 5 years? (particularly in cities such as Bangalore). However, the interest rate remains low, too far below the real inflation. Do the economic advisors and finance ministry and RBI know that this is best way to depreciate the rupee, increase uneven distribution of wealth and move people from upper middle class to lower middle class? Greeting honorable Prime Minister. I am an 18-year-old student. I have to pick a career that I'll spend my life doing but I have no idea. I wasn't taught in schools how different jobs feel, what suits me or what our future nation needs. And I realize millions of students sing the same song. We are all pushed in same blocks of a handful of jobs and fight over limited seats where chances fall below 5-2%. This not only affects a child's confidence but also a dream that could have revolutionized the world but gets crushed under layers of overburdened hopes. I really hope we could change it at grassroot level. Start with school, both government and private. Give children a view of all the wonders our nation holds. A career counselor who would actually help our children aim at their true talent. We need awareness. Campaigns like "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" are a household slogan now. A similar effort to have the vast expanse of careers actually be highlighted would be great. Thank you.
