Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), launched in 2018, has completed eight years of its journey towards advancing accessible, affordable and quality healthcare for millions of citizens. The scheme provides health cover of up to ₹5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation and has played a significant role in providing financial protection to eligible families.

To commemorate 8 years of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and encourage citizens to showcase the impact and significance of the scheme, the National Health Authority (NHA), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, is organising a Reel Contest.

The competition aims to encourage participants to create engaging and creative reels highlighting the benefits, impact and journey of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY over the past eight years. The reels should be original, informative and engaging, and should help create greater awareness about the scheme and its role in making healthcare more accessible and affordable.

Participants may choose any one of the following broad themes:
1. 8 Years of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY: A Journey of Health Protection
Showcase the journey of PM-JAY over the past eight years and its role in making qualityhealthcare more accessible and affordable.
Use facts, storytelling, animation or creative visuals to highlight the scheme’s impact.

2. Ayushman Card: A Step Towards Financial Health Security
Highlight how the Ayushman Card enables eligible beneficiaries to access entitled healthcare services under PM-JAY.
Showcase the ease, assurance and financial protection that the scheme offers to beneficiaries.

3. Ayushman Vay Vandana: Health Protection for Senior Citizens
Highlight the extension of health coverage to senior citizens aged 70 years and above under the Ayushman Vay Vandana initiative.
Feature grandparents or other elderly family members in a creative and engaging manner, while highlighting the importance of health security and care in later years.

4. My Ayushman Story: A Beneficiary’s Journey
Capture the story of any known Ayushman beneficiary and showcase how Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY has supported them in accessing healthcare.
Through an engaging reel, highlight their experience, the role of the scheme in their healthcare journey, and the difference it has made for them or their family.

5. My Ayushman Bharat: A Vision for a Healthier India
Share a creative vision of how Ayushman Bharat can contribute to a healthier, more secure and inclusive India.
Explore what accessible and affordable healthcare means for individuals, families, senior citizens and communities.

Prize
The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) for the Best Reel.

Submission Format
The reel should be submitted as a portrait-mode MP4 video with a maximum duration of 90 seconds.
Participants may paste the video link in the Word/PDF file or directly share it in the comments section. Videos uploaded on a social media platform may also be shared.
