The Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women and Child Development, proudly celebrates the spirit of creativity, compassion, and inclusivity showcased through the Mascot Making Competition for Adoption Awareness Month 2025. Observed every year in November, Adoption Awareness Month aims to sensitize society about legal and ethical adoption, reinforcing the belief that every child deserves to grow up in a loving, safe, and nurturing family environment. This year, CARA, in collaboration with MyGov India, reached out to citizens across the country to creatively engage with the cause of adoption of children with special needs (Divyaang children).

The National Commission for Women under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with MyGov hosted a “Poem Writing Competition – Arunima Magazine of NCW” and invited graduate and post graduate students studying in various colleges/universities to submit self-written poems on the below mentioned topics to be published in the 3rd edition of its Hindi Magazine “Arunima”.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development, in collaboration with MyGov, organized the Selfie with Colorful Thali competition to promote the concept of diet diversity and the objectives of POSHAN Abhiyaan.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development, in collaboration with MyGov, organized a Poem Writing Competition on POSHAN to encourage creative expression on the themes of nutrition and healthy living.

Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with MyGov, organized a Quiz Competition on Healthy Diet & Complementary Feeding to promote awareness on healthy diets and complementary feeding practices for infants and young children.
