Indian cities are inclusive centres of growth, that aggregate the best of talent, capital and innovation from across the country. In order to support the aspirations of millions of Indians, the “long tail of small cities”, meaning capacities of the newest of Indian cities must be boosted. It was with the intention of serving all our citizens therefore that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched the National Urban Digital Mission in February 2021.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs initiated ‘PMAY (U) Awas Quiz’ in association with MyGov on the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with an objective to create awareness about Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) Mission among citizens, stakeholders and beneficiaries. The Quiz was run on MyGov from 02.10.2020 to 14.01.2021. The PMAY(U) Awas Quiz received an overwhelming response with over 1,25,000 participants across India.
