The logo design contest was hosted on MyGov portal seeking entries from Indian and Vietnamese nationals from 23 November to 23 December 2021. A total of 748 entries were received on the MyGov portal. In addition, 34 entries were received from the Vietnamese nationals through the Vietnamese Embassy in New Delhi.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) conducted a logo designing competition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of establishment of India-Japan bilateral relations in 2022. Logo designing competition received an overwhelming response from the citizens across India. Total 1,131 entries were received and evaluated by a duly constituted screening committee.
