The semi-finals of the India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), one of India’s premier innovation and design contests, were held recently. The year-long contest has now reached its final stage and what a journey it has been! With over 26511 students from 1760 colleges participating in this year’s edition of the contest witnessed numerous projects that pushed the boundaries of creativity and innovative thought.

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 (IICDC) has seen great success as a platform for students to display their ingenuity and enterprise. Organized by Texas Instruments, in association with Department of Science and Technology (DST), IICDC 2017 has received over 5,049 ideas from 965 Indian engineering colleges. The IICDC is anchored by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov.

Sitting as the third largest ecosystems in the world, India Innovation Challenge Design Content (IICDC) launched by Texas Instruments in association with the Department of Science and Technology and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) aimed at giving an opportunity to engineering students to think about tech ideas that would change the socio economic issues that India is facing.
