The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), one of India’s premier innovation platforms for engineering students, continues to grow bigger. The recently concluded 2018 edition of IICDC was notable for a number of reasons. Some of these included: * Participation by 1760 colleges and 26511 students * A total of 10,146 ideas submitted * A record 116 patents filed by the 30 finalists of the contest On July 23rd, the Top 10 Incubates of IICDC 2018 were announced during the grand finale held in IIM Bangalore. The 10 Incubates will get an opportunity to take their start-up idea from the lab to the market, supported by a seed fund of INR 20 lakhs each from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The semi-finals of the India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), one of India’s premier innovation and design contests, were held recently.
