City of Vadodara made its mark in the Round 2 of Smart City Challenge, with Vadodara Municipal Corporation organizing a webinar session on 13th of May 2016. This session was addressed by Mayor, Shri Bharat Dangar (addressing remotely); Municipal Commissioner, Shri H.S.Patel (IAS); Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Dr.N.K.Meena (IAS) and other Class 1 officers.

The past is often used to keep non-western cultures and civilizations in a vice-like grip and it comes from imposing limits on vision for the future. We have to define our own culture in terms of our own categories and concepts and to articulate our vision in a language that is true to our self.

Considering the comments of MoUD, responses from the citizens, discussions with experts, planners, engineers, architects; the Panaji’s Revised Draft of Smart City Proposal is now available for citizen’s review.

Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) and Dehradun Municipal Corporation (DMC) take the pride to initiate the Draft Smart City Proposal presentation for citizen under the fast track submission of Smart Cities Challenge, Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD).

Pasighat Municipal Council has prepared the revamped Smart City Proposal for Pasighat under 23 Fast Track Cities selected by MoUD, GoI.
